Australian Bee Escape

The Bee Escape Board will get approximately 95% of the bees out of the honey super.

Just place under your honey supers with the metal exits facing down.  Make sure upper entrance in inner cover is taped shut or blocked by the Outer Cover so no bees can enter back in from the top of the hive. 

Overnight the bees will move into the bottom box through the escape board and they are unable to move back up. Leave it on for 2-3 days max. 

You will have some stragglers (especially if the nights aren't cool enough) so you will want a brush to get the last ones off.
